Dubai is one of the major cities in the world which occupies an important place in the Gulf Region. It is a place where you will be lost in the world of tall magnificent buildings and skyscrapers. The tallest building in the world is the Burj Khalifa which is located in Dubai, stands at a height of 828 meters, and has 163 floors. Though it was proposed to name the building as Burj Dubai, the name was changed to Burj Khalifa after His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nayan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and the President of the UAE. The tower was inaugurated on the 4th of January 2010

When the real estate was at its peak, apartment space in this building was offered at USD 2,000 per square foot and a 2,000 sft apartment would have cost you an astronomical USD 4 million. Incredible isn’t it? But, now the prices have come down and you can get the same apartment for about half the price. You can choose to enjoy your lunch at grill space or the trendy lounge. The menu it offers is fit for the Gods – prime cuts of beef, organic poultry and seafood, and other healthy dishes. The restaurant which seats about 210 people is open for lunch from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm and from 7.00 pm till 11.30 pm for dinner.

The hotel which takes up 36 floors of the Burj Khalifa offers a spectacular view of Dubai City and the Persian Gulf.
